Clive Powell the Principal Designer of Commercial Kitchen Design graduated from GMIT as a chef in 1984 and worked in both local and European hotels and restaurants until 1999.Following this period he then joined a local catering equipment company gaining experience in the design - product knowledge and project management of commercial kitchen installations until 2006.

Commercial Kitchen Design was established in September 2006 when a niche in the market was identified where Food Service Operators / Property Developers / Catering Equipment Suppliers / Interior Designers were seeking a designer with a chef’s background to assist and advise when it came to designing their kitchen and back of house areas combined with advice on the procurement of catering equipment.

As a food outlet design business we can offer you everything you need: professional plans that meet the requirements of the Health Department, Architects, Engineers, and Contractors. We work closely with environmental Health officers, electrical and mechanical engineers, plumbers, contractors, equipment dealers and interior designers to complete your kitchen layout on budget and schedule.
